How Equipsme works: How to contact the health support line

Equipsme plans are designed to offer practical, everyday health and wellbeing support. Here’s how to use the health advice line.

What is the health support line?

Equipsme’s health 24/7 support line, provided by our partners AXA Health, is a core part of all Equipsme plans.

It’s instant health back-up when you need it, a bit like the NHS 111 service, but you get through to an expert team of registered nurses.

There’s also midwives, pharmacists and counsellors on hand during office hours.

When would I call the health support line?

There’s lots of reasons to call the health support line. Here a few:

  • If it’s late at night and you’ve got a child with a fever, they can help you decide what to do.
  • If you or a family member has been diagnosed with something and you want to ask questions you forgot in the Doctor’s office, they’ll talk you through it.
  • If you need to check the dosage on a new medicine, side effects, or how it interacts with other medicine - their pharmacists can help.
  • If you’ve got a question about your bump, their midwives are on hand to chat.
  • If you’re struggling with a dilemma/issue and need to talk something through with a mental health professional, counsellors are there to listen.

What’s the number?

Go to your portal or App, and click on the health support icon.

The number is 0800 003 004, but you may be asked for your AXA Health membership number (which you’ll find under ‘My plan’).
