When we designed Equipsme plans, we designed them to be flexible – so they could work for more businesses and more people in them, including for whole workforces.
Businesses can mix and match plan levels, and introduce Equipsme at different stages.
Here’s 5 examples of how some of our customers are using our plans.
1. Mix and Match with legacy cover
Medium sized financial services client, c200 employees
- This client already had traditional PMI for its executive team, but bought our £9 GP Plus - level 4 plan plus Dental & Optical cover for all their uninsured employees.
- 5 of their executive team later switched to the top-level Diagnosis and Treatment Plus – Level 1 plan as they preferred the cover and our pricing model.
2. Length of service cover
Large employer in the food industry
- Bought all employees with two years’ service our Diagnosis and Treatment plan - level 2 at £41, our most popular plan level.
- Initially 500+ employees – only 3% opted out, and they’ve since added 50 new employees this year as they became eligible.
3. Basic cover with loyalty upgrades
Small client in the entertainment industry
- Bought all new joiners the GP Plus £9 entry plan.
- Then moved people up to Diagnosis and Treatment - level 2 plan at £41 after 1 year of service – rewarding loyalty and boosting retention.
4. The big switch
Medium-sized firm in the aviation industry
- This client closed an existing cash plan after employees demanded health insurance in their annual employee survey
- All new joiners now automatically get Diagnosis and Treatment - level 2 plan with EAP and Dental & Optical cover.
5. For the many, not the few
Medium sized Housing Association
- This client cancelled an existing PMI scheme which covered around 50% of employees as it was no longer sustainable or good value.
- After a period of consultation and internal communication, they have now bought our Diagnosis and Treatment - level 2 plan and Dental & Optical as a more inclusive benefit package for all staff members.
