At Equipsme we know your family’s health is just as important to you as your own health - and has a huge impact on your life and on your work.
It’s why we’ve always included family health services as part of our group health insurance plans – and why last year we teamed up with elder-care support experts Taking Care.

With Taking Care, all Equipsme members can now access exclusive discounts on Which recommended personal alarms and support services - helping elderly relatives live independently with confidence.
Taking Care services
Taking Care provide a range of wearable alarms, for the house and garden - or for going out and about further afield.
These are connected to an Emergency Response Team who can talk through the alarm equipment to understand what help is needed - for instance if someone has fallen or feels unwell or confused. They call nominated contacts or emergency services, and stay on the line with the person until help arrives.
No call goes unanswered, and the UK-based team are there 24/7 to offer support and back-up - whenever its needed.

Taking Care stories
Taking Care gives people peace of mind that if something goes wrong, their loved ones can get help.
“The equipment arrived very quickly which was great as my grandmother was being discharged from hospital and it was important she had the pendant as soon as she was home.
“It was all very easy to set up and the team were really understanding when I did a few testing calls with my grandmother. I opted for the fall detector pendant and I actually witnessed this working when my grandmother fell at home while I was there. It was very impressive (grandmother is ok now) and the team were very friendly. Would definitely recommend this.” Rochelle
“The personal alarm provides comfort and reassurance for my mother, and our family, knowing that when at times she is alone, help is at hand should she need it.
“As it's a fall alarm as well, the company will be alerted immediately should this situation occur. The system works well and we wouldn't be without it - worth every penny for the piece of my mind it provides.” Nick
"Everything about Taking Care’s service has exceeded my expectations.
“What Taking Care gives Mum is the freedom to live her life with the reassurance that she can get help at the touch of a button.
“It’s also a great comfort to me and my two sisters that she’s able to get care as soon as she needs it." Dion
