Starting the diagnosis journey online can help people get specialist attention faster, often speeding up the process. Some members will be able to get all the support they need virtually, while others might be referred for further tests or in-person support - if clinically necessary.
1. MSK Online outpatient service
ALL members can access MSK Online outpatient services, usually without a GP referral.
What’s more, the service can also help members with pre-existing conditions – which are excluded from our diagnosis and treatment services.
MSK issues are one of the biggest causes of sickness absence1.
With an estimated 7.1 million2 days lost per year. Online outpatient service means people may get expert support within 3-5 days – and hopefully get them back to work faster.
Members can access the service by logging onto their portal, and contacting AXA Health with their membership number. They’ll be guided through an online assessment and pointed in the right direction from there.
2. Dermatology Online outpatient service
The Dermatology Online outpatient service is only for members with Diagnosis as part of their Equipsme plan.
The skin is the largest organ in the body, and dermatological issues are common – from cystic acne to eczema and psoriasis. In fact, 13.23 million people in the UK see their GP about a skin issue ever year. But waiting lists to see a specialist can be longer than the 18 week NHS target4 for non-urgent conditions, depending on where you are in the country.
The dermatology online outpatient service could help your employees get support within 3-5 days. Members can access the service by logging into their members portal and contacting AXA Health with their membership number.
3. Digestive Online outpatient services
The Digestive Online outpatient service is only for members with Diagnosis as part of their Equipsme plan.
More than 4/105 Brits suffer from digestive discomfort, with 1 million6 living with a serious bowel condition. The digestive online outpatient service can help put your employees on the right track to identify, understand and deal with digestive health issues.
